Farming Simulator 22 will feature three new crops: grapes, olives, and sorghum. If you watched this year’s FarmCon, you learned more about them in our presentation. If you missed it, you can watch it right now. QA Lead Ken Burgess gives you an introduction.

  1. I love how our favourite mods in FS 19 you has put it already in FS 22
    Like (Seasons – Grapes & Olives and production)

  2. This game needs a proper career mode where you unlock tech. It's odd you can buy the best equipment from the start, it would be nice if you have a farmer profile that levels up and can unlock new farming equipment.

  3. The game looks great. But either Giants Software is greatly underestimating the hardware they plan to release thier games on, or they really need a new game engine. My Xbox One X ran 19 without a blink. In 4K. So they said long ago they wanted to see what the next gen consoles can do before they went into making 22. My Series X can run Microsoft Flight Sim in top settings in 4K very smoothly to my surprise. It runs Red Dead 2 in 4K with thier stunning graphics. My point is Giant can do sooo much more with this game. More detail. Fix the traffic. Make them stop at stop signs. Let your character actually lay in bed to sleep. Use a laptop to get pricing, or even a phone. Man the detail your leaving out given the power of Nexr Gen consoles and PCs, is astounding. The short draw distance falls well short of the hardware as well. I love the game. But it could be soo much more. My Series X can run FS19 in its sleep.

  4. Why couldn't they have just added tomato harvesting. I think that would have been an awesome add on to this game! There is a lot to do with tomato harvesting I grew up on a farm with my grandparents and that's one of the things they would do harvest them load them up in semi trucks and then deliver them to the tomato Factories that would either make ketchup tomato juice and tomato suops.

  5. I don't like the planting method for grapes. With every other crop you have to use a machine to plant, but with this you go into a build mode and draw it on the map? Then use machines to tend to it and harvest it? That completely breaks immersion.

    You should have either not put it in the game for made it to where after you draw it out on the map, a UI Character or teams if characters went out and hand built the posts, put up the wire then planted the vines. At least that would have been realistic.

    I'm your attempt to cram more crops into the game, you gave up a fundamental element of game play. Goes against what the game is about IMO.

  6. We should be able to do wine, for example, the longer we storage them, more it would increase value, and add few more options for production chain in general, I think that's the most important new mechanic in the game.
