“THORNTON FARM 19” FS19 MAP TOUR! | NEW MOD MAP Farming Simulator 19 (Review).

Love the map. Definitely a few issues. Have 70 odd hours on it with 2 other people. Bunker silos on the farm have glitched so they both have silage in them that we cannot get out so theyre not useable anymore, and we have to build a weird ramp at the biogas to sell our slurry as the trigger wasnt appearing. Straw triggers on pigs and cows are questionable. Took us a while to realise we had to fully repair vehicles before selling at the farm workshop trigger as well. Just small nuisances but otherwise we have really enjoyed it.

I own a biogaz plant but still i can't sell slurry there is no trigger! Any ideas?

Is it just me that can't get water from anywhere? Or am I using the wrong places. Where do you get yours from?

Hi sealy p. I been playing Thornton and getting frustrated. At first I set up the silage pits were buggy so they updated it and had to start a new save game. Second game save the silage pit is still faulty. Could you investigate the issue please see if its not just me getting the issue. I've emptied 5 trailers in the tight hand pit and it shows half the width of pit is full half is empty as though there a invisible wall down the middle of the pit. Be much appreciated buddy. Thank you

I can’t get water anywhere?? I e tried the lakes streams and ponds, the trailer will NOT take water? Anyone else have this issue?

For those of you wanting to play this map and have had problems with it such as the ones seen in this video, it has been updated! (On the PC version at least.) There is now dialogue points in the sheep field and the chicken area, as well as collection points for eggs and wool. It seems we kicked up enough of a stink for them to fix these problems.

The errors you speak of on the console are the same on PC. The map looks good and fun to play. I have downloaded it but waiting for an update before i play it properly.

Great map tour mr P most probably you have noticed that there’s a few maps lately that have a few problems on which is a bit strange in my eyes and then the modded gets lots of stress over it which upsets me because of the work that they put into the game and which they are some times unappreciated for what they do most probably the people who moan the most can’t do it 👍👍👍👏👏👏👏 great job ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

looks like it's a good map but it will be a great map with an update and all glitches repaired; however i do have one niggle that probably won't be updated, Sherwood Forest in Gloucestershire? nope it's in Nottinghamshire it was the famous forest of the legendary Robin Hood

I think the farm era is roomier than 17.

It looks like it's is not finished hopefully an update is on the way

I'm not sure if I like the addition of the sheds in front of Field 10, I can foresee that access becoming a faff.
Edit: To clarify, I like the visual change to the yard these sheds bring and the ramp does look cool, but I am dubious in terms of practicality.

I hate when people blame modders for bugs, everyone makes mistakes no one is perfect even play game studios make mistakes

Same problem with animal pens plus the building in the sheep field is floating one side. Apart from the few issues this map has its still worth farming on.

Looked up from breakfast at the mention of my name only to have my ego bruised 🙁

And as long as the points your are making are legitimate then its surely acceptable, if we don't have influential (ish 😉 ) people making these observations they wont know what needs fixing.

Great stuff & you are probably the only guy,who would be allowed criticism of a map, respect for pointing out no grown grass texture in landscaping, when missyB has 17 vegetation textures in her maps, & since Clarkson’s farm we all want to go naturing, 👍

All the issues you pointed out are present on the PC version as well, it begs the question what does Giants actually test on a map. Great map tour as usual Mr P.

MrSealyP same here I thought maybe they split up the shop with the farm but you can't sell anything there so the map is a fail until sufficiently patched

some of the non functional hazard markings on the ground could have been for delivery contracts.

pc-chickens dialog not working either and coops you can walk through thier walls.

Your not being negative, as a viewer I appreciate the honesty, the errors needed to be pointed out, the modders have to be aware that it has issues, quite surprised giants let this one through.

Just had a look on PC, and it's got the same issues so it's not down to the console conversion. Bit disappointing really, I had a great time on this map in FS17 and even in FS15.
