How To relocate your mod folder on PC – Farming Simulator 22

I did this and it loaded up without mods if I didn't include mods after D:/ & froze my loading screen if I had it D:/mods

Okay so I've tried this ten times with an external ssd and the game won't even open. I changed exactly what you did but all i get is "giants engine not responding" and can't even load the game now.

did the same thing had a folder all set up moved it to that loaded the game and no mods

first time i did i havd over 2,000 mods move the folder out of C Drive My Games folder move it to my other location that has a much bigger storage loaded into the game and my mods are not installed moved the folder back and mods work? so what went wrong?

i dont have even that game setting folder and no mods folder

Had a new D drive Installed in my grandson's computer. Copied the C drive to the D drive for safekeeping. However now when he tries to play Farm Sim22 there are no mods in the game. We located the mod folder on the C drive but guessing we should look in the Documents/my games/farm simulator 2022 path. But what do we do once we find it?

I had to do this because for some reason, my mods were all installing on Onedrive. I've moved them all to a different folder, but they're also still on OneDrive. Can I just delete them off of there, or will that cause problems down the road? I'd like to be able to delete them ,because it took up all the space on Onedrive

I tried this with fs19 and i lost all my mods and i decided to try it again this time with your vid and i was able to get it done but when i start the game i can't find any of my mods ,I'm did it exactly except I'm trying to put it on an external drive ,seems like it still wants to pull from the c drive

I'm having an issue with my fs22 file. It looks like I am missing a "modSetting" folder. Without this folder the mods I installed off the mod hub website do not appear in the game. Is there any way I can fix that without uninstalling and reinstalling the game?

And what if i don't want just the mods folder but the entire game folder on another drive??. Can't find an answer anywhere.

This is very interesting! So then…if my game was installed on my regular WD hard drive, I could put my mods on my big SSD drive…and my game would operate smoother and faster? I understand this is the basis of what you are saying…I am just double checking my comprehension. (Too many gray hairs in my beard…lol)

All of a sudden my mods are invisible in game where I cannot buy any of my mods but I can buy stock equipment, does anybody have any clues?

Is it possible to relocate where the save game is stored also? Thinking I could put it on my google drive or one drive then could use from either desktop or laptop the same game save.
