I know I’m late to the party but I’m thinking the the herbicide will only work using seasons, because with seasons you can spray before hand to prevent weeds from growing in your field but in the base game herbicide is only effective once the weeds are grown. Just a theory, but I may have to test it out. Thanks for your great videos as always! Really appreciate the effort you put into these.

hi just a quick comment on your last section regarding herbicide not working on those weeds, those arnt weeds they are flowers the weeds are totally different as you will see if you turn on weeds and let them grow in the crop, i dont know why everyone calls all the flowers and plants on the map weeds when they are not

Wow thanks 4 yor hard work and patience I think I'll just have a seeder then fertiliser later but it is a good mod

In reality spraying mature plants with weed killer takes a few hours/days to act as the chemical needs to be absorbed by the plant through the roots, mature leaves and woody stem. Young plants would absorb chemical through the leaves, hence instant death. Does this planter work with a tractor front tank(s)?

The issue with the fill silos exists with many planters that seed and fert. I have used MF sheds from AlienJim with the huts that separate seed and fert to make it much easier to fill.

However, this doesn’t solve the other issues with this JD planter mod. Mind you, I never run weeds, so that really only leaves the issue of not putting fert in the option with no fert tanks.

Put your bids in, Giants is accepting any and all garbage! And NOT testing ANYTHING! R.I.P. FS!!

Awesome review and love the planter. Neighbors had one growing up. Was quite envious of their stack fold as we just had an 8 row.

I think you may have been on to something when you suggested the herbicide in the last configuration may be a preventative measure only. It would be interesting to see if the herbicide count decreases on a clean field.
