I know this is just a demonstration, but putting hose-reels on the front-end is generally bad practice. Considering that the front-axle swivels on most tractors, having all that weight up front obviously isn't going to do you any favors.
has anybody tried using the pump/hoses to supply the greenhouse? would be a good quality of life improvement if you dont have to drive back and forth between the lake several times
Wish this could be free tbh it should be but it is what it is. I aibt gonna buy
Ah damn it's been so long since I've watched one of your videos. Good to see you're doing well!
Daggerwin should do the biggest hose line like the trailers lol
“Quite a lot of hose” 😂😂😂
I have been following CowFarmerDan since you mentioned his channel a while back…. love it… thanks for the "referral".
This mod is everything I have been asking for since the Manure Systems mod was released. This looks really awesome!! I love the interaction with equipment and objects, makes it more realistic for me (Rocky Fields, Manure Systems, Manual Attach) gives it more of a realism feel. I will absolutely be getting this mod, thank you so much for the showcase. As always, good stuff mate
If you ever use the BGA for fertilizer, try using woodchips as an alternative to manure. the write up I looked at mentioned that you could use woodchips as an additional source of fertilizer
duracell ref, kepps going… and going… and going….
Ran dragline systems for 10yrs. Setup on the longest pull corner to corner usually. That way your runs get shorter every time and you don't turn it into a string of sausages
I misread "pumps and hoses as pimps and hoes"
My day job is as a dairy man we farm 1000 head of dairy cows and we drag line our fields I can't wait to get off work and drag line my fake farm
I thought it said pimps n hoes at first
Where I live in the south of the netherlands they use this method alot. Slurry is moved by trucks and they pump it through the hose. I'm Guessing they get the manure from whole of the country.
Wow what a marathon. I've just watched the last 60'ish episodes in 4 or 5 days. Love the series and feel a bit sad its nearing its end but I understand that you want to do some other maps. This sure have been a long runner 🙂 Great work 🙂
Your better off haveing more shorter lengths, where I work we have 4 200m so then you don’t have so much excess
What next irrigation systems DLC
I am curious with the pump having hoses and connection points why you didn't need to attach it to the slurry tank and have the hose going into the water for it to transfer the water.
It's actually more efficient to spread slurry this way than with a tractor and tanker it keeps diesel costs down because your not going to fill a tanker up so you don't have to leave the field plus it leave it that cows can still graze it unlike with a splash plate all the grass gets covered so cows don't want to graze but with a umbilical system it just leaves a little line of slurry down the field so cows can simply just eat what's not covered
