The big walkabout mother bins are not supposed to be used as chaser bins.
you are supposed to park them at the edge of a field and use them as temporary storage to fill semi trucks.
that haul grain to your farm silo
this way semis are never waiting for chaser bins and chaser bins have somewhere to dump when the semi isnt back yet.
mother takes care of it.
you can also use less semi's and smaller tractors pulling chaser bins. because they dont have to wait for each other.
also makes autodriving your chasers and semis easier because of mother.
and its fun to watch.
its why the big walkabout is rated for only 400hp. which cannot pull it full.
but it does not need too. it only has to pull it empty and power the auger when its full.
and its a fast auger. why it needs 400hp.
its supposed to be instead of having 650hp tractors dragging half full 2200 bushel chaser bins all over the field. wasting fuel.
with walkabouts you dont need 2200 bushel chaser bins.
you need bins that hold one or two harvester load. and can be pulled by a medium tractor.
and the walkabout provides the bigger storage.
stationary at the edge of the field.
less running cost
using a walkabout mother bin as an even bigger chaser bin than a 2200 is pure walkabout heresy. 🙂
And i did exactly the same thing before i googled its proper use.
I would say it's 2m liters but it's actually 7,5m nicely done i'm think it took some hours
