  1. Watching on catch-up, and enjoying your playthrough (I watch a few on this game).
The idea of mower front, windrower/tedder/bailer/forester unit on the back. It can work, but you'd need to have a weight as well as the mower on the front.
You're little diamond of a tractor is fab, but it can't do that all at the same time. Hp blah. blah,
Mean it though. genuinely enjoying watching your playthrough Sir 🙂

  2. Honestly I like the way you're doing things on this map, I've never considered NML a forestry map so much as it is a pioneer map. There's enough woodland around you take take a little from it for extra cash as needed, but it'skike it's a dense forest and you're clearing areas to make space for fields. You've got a good balance going I'd say, VF!

  3. Too bad with the mower/rower combo 🙂 Idea for a long-term goal: buy a plot of land for a dedicated forestry plot? To have something to do over winter other than animals?

  4. VF, don't forget to save up for a decent trailer to transport your harvest and a silo. You need those just about immediately after getting the harvester.
A cheaky way to get trees for cutting is to buy them via landscaping tools. They will bring in more than the buy price. Not very realistic and close to cheating, so I don't expect it to see you use it VF 😉 But it is a method some people do in the first stages of the farm. Furthermore, I agree with you on forestry. I only do that myself to either get some quick cash or for landscaping. Planting them might be a good but slow way to make money. I think another greenhouse might be better. But then, I really like greenhouses! Did you look into modded ones for different produce?
I have a field of grass needin a cut soon again, I wil do half the field with only frontmower and baler (mine is combi with wrapper) and half the normal way. I will use a timer to see what actually goes faster and keep a close eye on the wear&tear+fuel usage for both methods. I have a feeling there is a reason we don't see it in real life.
