So you have to buy the oil factory 80,000$ in order to produce the oil. Otherwise the grain will just be sold directly to the oil mill and cashed out.

That's why it's taking forever. Just bought the game. So I'm new to the seasonal calendar.

A year to grow? In real life its only 5 months. Plant after May 1. Harvest September and October.

FYI – Canola, aka rapeseed, like oats and sunfower, is a low volume high $/liter crop. It also has a low density like oats and canola…compared to other grains. Even though $/hectare may seem like its not as good as other grains, low density and low volume means much lower logistics costs for the crop…which makes a big difference to your bottom line…just ask a sugar cane or sugarbeat farmer.

Just curious with seasons turned on it shows a 2 month window for harvesting most crops like canola, do they wither if you wait until the 2nd month to harvest if it states "ready to harvest" during the 1st month? My initial thought is the 2nd harvesting month only applies if you planted the crop during the 2nd month it was available to plant, but I haven't risked the harvest to test.

Canola Oil on hard peaks around 2050 per 1000L if anyone needs to know (seasonal growth on). I have not sold it as a cash crop, as I have mostly been farm to production on it. Sunflower oil hits around 2250 and olive oil is around 3100-3200.

was wonderering does the extra function of the header realy do someting in game or not(lmb funtion)? also the beehives is it a fleild must be inside the range or will it only give a bonmus for the the crop inside the range?

Canola oil can also be used to make bio fuel. That would be something a modder could add to the production element.
